When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.

William Arthur Ward

Greatness is not a function of circumstance. Greatness is largely a matter of conscious choice.

Jim Collins in “Good to Great”

A good reputation is more valuable than money

The virtue lies in the struggle, not in the prize.

The best rivalry in NBA met up in LA on Sunday, and I was surprised a fight didn’t break out! There were multiple times when I thought KG was about to start swinging, but after his ejection from the game the night before in Portland, it was smart he didn’t do anything dumb. Kobe put up 41, but the Celtic’s proved that teamwork is always key in huge matchups. The Truth lead the C’s with 32, and Jesus, KG, Baby, Nate, and Rondo added 21, 18, 13, 11, and 10 respectively. Rondo dished out 9 of his 16 assists in the 4th quarter, which is what really lead the Celtics to the W in the Staples Center.
Saturday was a day full of upsets, and was probably the best Saturday of college hoops I have seen in a long time. Kemba and the boys lost by 1 in Double OT, which I am still heated about! Tell me why Kemba passed the ball instead of attacking a mangled up mess towards the rim to end the first OT. He’s one of the best collegiate players at drawing fouls, it makes no sense!? Come on man!
